He lived but a short life, dying before Sept. 29, 1693, when the inventory of his estate was taken, which his widow presented in court Oct. 4 following. It showed household goods, tools, cattle, a Bible, etc.; total, £45:13:00. "Widow Hannah Tobey" was admitted to the church April 14, 1700. She died before May 20, 1714, when Nathaniel Otis was appointed administrator of her estate.
