Chicago Tribune, Feb. 4, 1936:
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Warren Wells of 29 East Schiller Street announce the engagement of their daughter, Willa Hadley Wells, to Harry A. Turley of Leesburg, Va. Miss Wells is a graduate of Northwestern University. Mr. Turley attended the University of Virginia and the Philadelphia Textile School. He is living now in Warwick, R.I. The wedding is planned for June.

Chicago Tribune, March 6, 1943:
Before the small altar in St. Chrysostom’s Mrs. Willa Wells Turley and William E. Ullmann will be married at 4:30 o’clock today. The bridge will be given in marriage by her father, A. Warren Wells of Evanston, and Mrs. Philip Shambaugh will be her only attendant. Stuart Ullmann of Lake Bluff will be his brother’s best man. A small reception will follow in the bride’s apartment in North avenue. Mr. Ullmann, who formerly lived in North State street, will take his bride to live on his farm at Scales Mound near Galena, Ill.
