Rosie appears in the 1850 Racine census living with her parents and siblings. The 1860 Racine census shows her living with her husband and oldest two sons. In 1870 the Chicago census shows her keeping house with her husband and three sons. The 1886 Oak Park, Ill. directory shows her living as a widow at 209 East Ave. From 1898-1900 she is listed as living in the Kenton, an apartment hotel. Her funeral services were at the Grace Episcopal Church of which she was a member.
