SERVICES SET FOR MONDAY
Services for Edward W. Emery, 58, of 1420 Lake Shore dr., president of the Chicago Rawhde Manufacturing company, 1301 Elston av., will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fourth Presbyterian church, 126 E. Chestnut st.
Mr. Emery died Thursday in Brantford, Ont., where he had gone to participate in ceremones honoring employees of a subsiduary company. He was a grandson of Thomas Edward Wilder, a pioneer Chiagoan who founded the leather manufacturing conmpany. Mr. Emery assumed control 26 years ago.
He as active in the Young Men’s Christian aassociation and was a member of the Chicago Crime commission and a member of the board of the Fourth Presbyterian church. He leaves his widow, Joan; two sons, Edward Jr. and William H.; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Tucker and Joan; his mother, Mrs. William H. Emery; and a sister, Mrs. Norman R. Hanson.
