Mrs. Joan W. Prentiss
Services for Mrs. Joan W. Prentiss, of 1420 N. Lake Shore Dr., will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Fourth Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Chestnut St. Mrs. Prentiss, the widow of James H. Prentiss, Jr., died Saturday in Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. Mrs. Prentiss was a member of the Women’s Athletic Club of Chicago, the HGarden Club of Lake Geneva, and a vice president of the Northwestern University Settlement. She was also a volunteer at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s and a boar member of the Division Street YMCA. Surviving are two sons, Edward Emery and William Emery; two daughters, Mrsa. Joan Lammers and Mrs. Lucy Otzen; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nancy Prentiss Tye; 14 grandchildren; and two sisters.
